PROJECT DETAILS

The McClintock Street project involved the complete redevelopment of the former Metropolitan College site to create a modern, multi-purpose city centre development. The scheme delivers a purpose-built student accommodation complex comprising 490 en-suite and cluster bedrooms, along with high-quality communal areas, study spaces, and a coffee bar designed to foster a vibrant student community.

Constructed simultaneously on the same footprint, the project also includes a new-build 237-bed hotel, creating a seamless blend of residential and hospitality use within one integrated development.

Location

This transformation revitalises the site of the 1960s Metropolitan College of Business Studies, located on the prominent corner of McClintock Street and Brunswick Street in Belfast’s Linen Green district. The new development enhances the character of the area, combining contemporary architecture with functional urban design to support the continued growth of Belfast’s education and tourism sectors.
